Various important meetings are coming up, do please attend if you can
Friday 17th of April - The Cairngorm National Park Authority is meeting in Ballater and on their agenda is Saddlehill industrial turbine development. The meeting is in the Albert Hall at 11am and members of the public can attend. If you would like to speak at the meeting then you need to arrange this in advance.
Thursday 23rd of April - Public Meeting in Kirriemuir Town Hall at 7pm arranged by Friends of Backwater Reservoir. This meeting is to alert members of the public to the possible risks to drinking water from the proposed development at Backwater Reservoir. Guest speakers are Dr Rachel Connor and Graham Lang (Scotland Against Spin)
Friday 15th of May - The planning application for Macritch will be heard by a Full Council at 10am. Whilst Angus Council are not determining this application they are consultees and their response for the Energy Consents Unit will be agreed at this meeting. Two representatives from the local community can speak for a maximum of 10 minutes but the presence of as many objectors as possible will help to show the strength of local opinion.
