1/24/2015

Unlike Saddlehill this application has been submitted directly to the Scottish Government. Whilst Angus Council are a consultee it is important that you make your objection directly to the Energy Consents Unit in Glasgow but you can also send a copy to Angus Council so they are able to see the strength of feeling. For details please read on...

PLEASE  OBJECT  TO  THE  MACRITCH  HILL WIND  FARM  DEVELOPMENT  ON  THE BACKWATER  RESERVOIR  EAST  OF GLENISLA

The application has been submitted to the Scottish Government and the closing date for objections is February 20th 2015.  This is a beautiful and iconic place on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park and should be protected from industrial development.  The Angus and Perthshire glens are under threat from these enormous turbines (in this case, 125m high) which will ruin the landscape, affect wildlife and impact on local people for years to come.

Email the SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT, Energy Consents Unit Mailbox at : representations@scotland.gsi.gov.uk

or Write by post to :

THE SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT ENERGY CONSENTS UNIT,

4th Floor, 5 Atlantic Quay, 150 Broomlaw, Glasgow G2 8LU

Please quote the reference Macritch Hill Wind Farm

Please send a copy of your objection to :

Angus Council, Planning Department, Market Street, Forfar DD8 3LG or by email: planning@angus.gov.uk quoting the planning reference number 15/00047/S36 (Macritch Hill Wind Farm)

Please help save this place for us and for the future.
