A plea for support against Saddlehill Industrial Wind turbine development

This is a plea for support in our battle against the siting of a 14 turbine wind farm across the crest of Kilry Hill overlooking Glenisla.
The proposed turbines are up to 115 metres high to blade tip and will dominate the beautiful high approach to the Glen.
Views from Kilry Hill (Black Hill or Saddle Hill as the developers insist on calling it) present a wonderful vista towards the Glas Maol massif of Glen Shee and the Cairngorm National Park. This will be totally ruined by the intrusion of these giant turbines.
The proximity of the Cateran Trail will also be badly affected and we have had many of those who walk the Trail decrying the proposals.
Tourism in the Glen and surrounding area will be badly impacted by the turbines. Many of those who regularly come to the area on holiday say that they would not return if the wind farm were to be constructed.
The developers, Wind Prospect, have submitted their application to both Angus Council Planning and Perth and Kinross Council Development Management so we are calling on all those who know and love this iconic piece of countryside to write in to object.
The cumulative  effect of the existing wind farms and those proposed in the area fly in the face of Planning Guidelines and we need all those who care about the area to voice their objections.
